Silent tears that rape the night
Harsh false words that caused me fright
Time that fades into the past
Moments of joy that never could last
Tears that fell and never stopped
The past that's not so easily forgot
The pain that's become too difficult to ease
The haunted dreams I continue to see
The scars that continue to eat me alive
All the reasons I continue to hide
***** our past, your lies, your strength
The distance between us is not enough length
***** the scars you've left upon me
Continue to despise who I've chosen to be.
