I look into your eyes, and it is nothing that I see
Nothing like what I expected, or wanted it to be
I wanted to see us, in your eyes, loving forever
But its not what I saw, I didn’t see us together
Why must it be doomed for us, destined to hate
How can so naive, and just put it all down to fate
I don’t believe in that crap and neither should you
Because real love defies boundaries and fate too
Why is it when I touch you, you just turn away
Is it someone else, if it is, that’s all you have to say
It saddens me, that you couldn't stay committed
It angers me that I wasn't the only shoe you fitted
What will happen from here, only a fool would say
I'll find someone better, that’s usually the way
It wouldn't be that hard to move on after you
Because real love defies lies and deception too
