Stuttering

Contributed by remy on Thursday, 25th March 2004 @ 04:37:20 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

while i'm watching waiting for something, it's nothing
well nothing new, and just take a look right at you
i don't know what to do, but i'm coming on one thing
there's a meaning when you keep a way of coming through

a whisper in the ear crosses indifference, far from sense
sense i used to have, thrown from the window in the back
backed down from the fact, that holds me on the fence
as if it feels more immense to be carving down this track

soon... i could get off this boat
with the trip carried in my heart
you... could sing a sweeter note
i wouldn't mind all the time apart

i was sure a cure would lure me distinctly, to be carefree
free from who knows, it seemed like the way for me to go
well you know i carry slow, but for a care i will carry
will you dare me to venture straight through the unknown?

a kiss upon the head i've share the love, not near enough
enough to substitute, when i couldn't match you being cute
still there's no dispute, i'll tuck you as you're made of
the dreams between the sheets you'll sleep looking so cute

soon... i could get off the boat
with a trip caught through my step
you... could sing a sweeter note
but the love i just won't forget
and soon... i'll be stuttering
while wondering all the same
and you... you will be next to me
it's so sweet when you stay

i could end up waiting
the thoughts all recreating
caught in air thinking...
of you.
i'll start with delaying
no there's no mistaking
that my heart's blinking...
at you.
soon... i could off the boat
you... could sing another note
and soon... stuttering...

soon... i could get off my boat
and climb upon the deck of yours
you... could sing all your notes
with a heart yearning for more
and soon... i'll be stuttering
just thinking about you in name
and you... you could be next to me
i wouldn't have it another way

Well, Remy, I finally found you and your beautiful poetry.
Stuttering, that's a good way of putting it, I'd never really thought of it that way.....but 'tis true......we do stutter when we love someone and want them near.
I really enjoyed this poem. It was loving, and lovely, also very romantice like a beautiful love song!
love
consue
