Pivot of Loves Tale

Contributed by Valerie_Pearson on Thursday, 19th September 2002 @ 06:37:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

White-washed with residue,
without a guarantee,
it's not a privledge or a right,
it's only want and need,
The greatest of coviction,
it shackles you inside,
standing on a spooled shaft,
its made of truth and lies,
Swarming with character,
inducing twisted schemes,
it forbears a broken shadow,
and bites at all your dreams,
Love doesn't choose a season,
it leaves you unaware,
chaining you inside,
you become the package, unprepared,
Bringing you a sphere of hope,
it opens your domain,
now you're left, inside a blur,
bound inside its chain,
Troubling your own judgement,
it throws away the key,
making you the prisoner,
your reflection becomes ...... we,
Sometimes it stands attentive,
vital in its crown,
but if not with ..... peace of mind,
it often pulls you down,
Love's surface, is a paramount,
seeping from its sides,
its all a game of love and hate,
walking side by side,
Tornado winds, thee oral concept,
give or take, the turning point,
jealousy, the most hidous,
it breaks at every joint,
Taking in restrictions,
it stretches for demand,
dare it see the seven sins,
deadliest to man,
It's not a fairy tale, but a barrel of a gun,
opposite of its portrail, it pivots in its fun,
It makes you the swimmer,
a superficial joke,
you either drown or swim,
most likewise it is both,
Sometimes it under-estimates,
its urgency to fly,
it then becomes an actor, only left to die,
Rich or poor, it doesn't matter,
its all been one bad dream,
tucked away, are no surprises,
but an unforgotten scene,
Maybe its a breaking point,
a marsh that fades through time,
or an overbearing memory,
a fuzy cup of wine,
Patching up its blemish, it seizes every mood,
you then become its mate,
a represent of shrewd,
Only known to nature, it has no king or queen,
but instead, you're left the joker,
the crown of in-between,
So if love, is what your looking for,
read between the lines,
it will leave you standing all alone,
a fragment of your time!
