Sleeping here side by side
dreams entwined around
each other so pleasantly.
Who would have thought
that we would have
come together like this.
We met and talked,
danced, and went for a walk.
The moon seemed to follow us
keeping the path ahead lit.
Stars winked that night
as we walked hand in hand.
Snow lightly fell making
you look like an angel.
Every word spoken
and every step taken
seemed perfect and planned.
Kissing you gently in bliss
teased longing playfully.
Exertion uneeded when
everything feels natural
and perfectly right.
All limits exceeded
with every word and kiss.
We played all night long
throwing snowballs laughing
all the while in childlike ecstasy.
Trying to build a snowman
ten feet tall with all our might.
Falling all over each other
with angels spread all over.
Raven's Sin

There are few things more romantic than simply being playful...
Great poem, I enjoyed it quite a bit. You made it easy to picture everything, leaving behind a lasting impression--and one memorable poem.
Truly,

This was so picturesque. You painted the snow scenes and playfulness so clearly in my mind. It will snow again and those moments will come again and I hope they are everything and more than you dreamed. You have done a fine job in regards to this poem. Kie |

Yes, a very lovely picture. Having grown up in the north, it brings back memories. Nice stuff.

Ah... the tenderness of love...a winter rose indeed,
in the coldest of winters
blooms "winter rose"
love's flower.
Great work.... such tender description of more tender moments! |
