Being able to last is something
but being the one they remember is more
are we meant to walk in this world aimlessly
I guess there is no hope in sight
that is why we all think we just might
kill ourselves to end our torture
The world offers us so much
but yet we are meant to fail in this game
the pain just pours on you like little drops of rain

with every drop, you want to die
every drop makes you wonder why
is it worth it, is it worth the chance you must take
That is one of the choices you must make
for only you can decide whether or not to die

But yet is to die any different from living
No one will remember you if you are gone
they were never there to care
so make your choice wisely for you could never make it again
but as for me, my choice is to say goodbye
this is my choice to make and I am the one to die

Gosh I can understand exactly how you feel!
Especially when not one person commented??? What's with that? Well Stephen, let me say... life is worth living.I know it never seems like it and the road is long and hard, but endurance makes for a stronger soul! Please hang in there and keep on writing, it's the best form of medicine one can find!!!
Angel always...godspeed...joni!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
