ankh

Contributed by ladyfawn on Thursday, 25th March 2004 @ 12:05:06 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

all it ever would have taken... one sweetly spoken simple word,
from heartfelt silent lips, but 'twas never heard...
was love, perhaps, just some empty sighs, to call
me back to fall again within' his arms and charms

alas, these words were never uttered, expressed nor
breathed, there was no completeness; just an empty
ending to some silly dream... undying love died; flown
on to some other visions; or unsuspecting heart, were
these moments ever true, real, or just two vivid writer's
imaginations falling spiraling flowing on the roads amazed
to nowhere's separation; and all because the love given,
shared and taken is no longer there,

unspoken.

I don't believe there is a symbol of forever that works, but for some strange reason I hang on to the crux ansata I wore for a couple of early young years. I guess I just can't stop believing. I run across it occasionally in a jewelry box and wonder why I keep it, but it is the memories associated with it, I suppose.

Love n hugs, Nessa,
Rita

A very unique title. I wish I had the answers to the questions in your poem. Like a magic wand that could make love never leave and people would only cry tears of joy. This one touched my heart. Kie

a heart of cold unfeeling stone is in the breast of he who cannot say the words out loud - and in that solitude and darkness dwell forever and alone -

a fantastic write nessa - a long sigh as my heart contemplates your words -

hugs

This is very good. I know what it feels like to lose opportunities. That is what this reminded me of is the friendships i could 've made deeper. I know what you rea speaking about is much different.
