Frozen tears, so soft and faint, sprinkle upon my face.
They are invisible through your eyes.
I am the weakest link in this broken chain of friendship.
I am the truth, hindering perfection.
I long to be something that can never fade.
I yearn withstand and defy "forever".
Yet I am only an illusion of time.
Cursed to diminish as moments pass by.
Slowly whithering away within a shattered past
As memories leave me to die within my mind.
Your distant echoing laughter reminds me of my fate.
You can never be mine.
Forced to swallow all emotion as I see her with you.
Where I belong.
Passion lingers as sorrow in the end prevails.
I am a reflection of what could have been.
You cannot see me.
Forever I long to be a part of your reality.
Never knowing my secret, innocent lust,
You cannot save me.
