BFF is what friends always said
Saying they will be friends till they are dead
The truth shows through once you grow-up
Instead of half-full, I have a half-empty cup
We were always taught school is the best
That if we study we will pass the test
Once you get older you begin to realize
That everyday hellos turn into last goodbyes
Friends risk their lives more and more
They sometimes even steal a shirt from a store
You wouldn’t believe how much changes occur
My life is passing by so fast it’s a blur
Being young was so much easier
My life has become so much busier
The changes that occur are good and bad
In a second your mood can change from hyper to sad.

It saddens me to think... that in a few years, I will graduate from high school, and this may happen to me, and the very friends I have vowed to never depart...
Very thought provoking...
Continue writing, please....
