I run everything you said to me
Over and Over in my mind
Wishing I could rewind and re-live each moment
So I could re-experience my happiness.
And I could change any wrong actions.
Maybe this way I wouldn't have lost you.
I imagine times we could have had together
Times that we could have smiled and laughed.
We could have be happy.
If you had just let me in.
I wish my love life was a tape,
So I could fast-forward my time without you.
And re-play the moments I had spent in your
Loving in arms.
At the end of the day -
I would pause it on your smile -
so it could stay forever.
