The Shine of Silver

A shine of silver
A splash of red
The pounding heart
In my head.
The numbing pain
The guilty hours
Picking up speed
Till I'm devoured.
Nothing more
Than a mound of a scar.
Cut too deep,
Maybe I've gone too far.
Still I wonder
In this pleasureful pain,
Who will ever
Take the blame?
I cannot say
That this is wrong,
It's been keeping me sane
For way too long.
Now I lay
And think a while
As the blood drops
Begin to pile.
Can't tell a soul
What I've done
I'll pack my bags
And begin to run.
I'll disappear
Into my head.
Or maybe just sit
On my blood stained bed.

What a "painful" write! I liked the way you wrote this poem, I have done some similar things myself (not that I'm happy about it but that's past) hopee it's past for you too. I really liked the ending : "I'll disappear
Into my head.
Or maybe just sit
On my blood stained bed."
Great write!!!
