Kiss your grave

Topic: ApologyPoetry

i just cant sit back
and watch you throw it all away,
its hard to sit and lie,
that everything is going to be alright,
i've tried to help with out you knowing,
i've even tried to help when it was snowing,
but snow wasnt the white stuff you wanted,
it was coke, crack, sumthing that you didn't lack,
i wanted to scream out for help,
i kept it all under my belt,
but in the end, all was lost,
i went and tried to tell your mother,
even your father and your brother,
you told me, no im not addicted,
but to pain killers you were,
you denied the help to go to rehab,
and you couldn't see all the bad.
im sorry if i scare you,
but look at it like this,
i will give your grave a kiss,
when you OD, on everything
the pot, robo, crack, its all such a smack.
im sorry that im not a better friend.
i wanted to help you but i cant.

That's so sad, but i suppose people can really only be helped if they want to receive it. Unfortunately hitting rock bottom is what makes alot wake up to themselves but can be too late. I have had a few friends like that, it's tragic.

Very powerful, i hope it all turns out for the best.

Good luck..
