As time goes on
and i wait for the right man

I begin to dream of
What he would look like

would he have long flowing brown hair would his lips be as soft as silk

Would he like to cuddle by the fire place and whisper sweet nothings in my ear

As time goes on I wonder if he's out there wondering if he would like a girl like me

I know these are only thoughts that I have go through my head

But as time goes on I wonder if my knight is out there and if he is thinking of me

Only as time goes on

Hello Jade and welcome to YPDC. I have had some of the same exact thoughts only different. I believe your knight is out there and in time I hope you find him. I know the waiting is hard. Liked your poem alot..... Kie
