Jealousy the killer,
It murdered me tonight.
Staring in my bloodshot eyes, it tore the remnants of a shattered heart.
Burning what was left after, Anger so strong tears of blood surfaced.
Envy would have never come,
And it wasn’t what you said,
But what you didn’t.
I know our eyes met.
I know you saw.
I know you weren’t scared.
I also know this…
I’m so tired of waiting for the day you’ll come and save me from myself.
I know I met you.
I know I met you.
Will you be different the third?
Knowing equals my dejection.
I wish you knew desire killed me.

Excellent piece. I especially liked this part:
"I’m so tired of waiting for the day you’ll come and save me from myself.
I know I met you.
I know I met you.
Will you be different the third?"
Good work! |
