Stoppage

The world spins around and
Stops on a dime
The world stops on a dime
With you still spinning in spite
You never saw the fall coming
Thought you were everything
Till the world stopped on a dime
You're dying and living a lie

World spins on and on till it stops on a dime
With everyone standing and falling still
Taking no notice of the upcoming floor
Flying opportunities out the door
Drowning in your own making
The world spins on a dime out of control
Inertial breaks the fall as we undergo
Falling helplessly to the ground

Floating in the dreams never to be
Taking forever to get back to reality
Sleeping in the night and never waking
Dreaming of a time never seen
Back when things made sense to thee
Time isn't about to stop for thee
The world stops on a dime daily
Making decisions is better than waiting

This was very good..Not sure how it would sound as a song but hell most songs do not sound like songs..I liked the choice subject and the way you flowed it into one..
