Loving Someone
When you love someone
How amazing life becomes
Suddenly it's worth living fully
Every moment counts
There's urgency in everything you do
Purpose in every thought, every move
Hope saturates the soul
With joy and vision
There is nothing or no one else
Save the one your heart adores
Pain you gladly bear
Just to feel their touch once more
When you love someone
Words are spoken heart to heart
Without fear or rejection
Self is denied pettiness
When you love someone
Want and need bow to sacrifice
Pride defers to humility
And life is beautiful
