Story and poetry

Blue sky of June
The dark sky, the sky of autumn
The damp the dry the love the lie the disease the fall the hope the loss the love the loss the pain the cost the smiles as we part and everything else is lost
Like two hands split apart
We slide together
We cut and rip and we hurt and we sink

Green trees surround me and picket fences crown me
I ride my bike as my loves watch
As they let go I ride
I miss my shoulders more each day

Dark green trees on a lake in September 1997
And I let another destruct button be pressed
And I still missed my shoulders they were vacant
And as I walked past the lake i ignored life

Blue sky the bluest sky of the summer
The dreams of the green sporadic evening light
And I am Daisy
And I am he and I am you I am 1920s I am the future and I bury the past
His name over used and your taste still fresh on his
And your breath still surrounds him and his words are written and his smile is commentated
Car crash silver and red spread around the evening green
It seems everything’s reverential and that’s the way I want it

Stormy dark blue sky as deep as the Welsh sea
On a bus in the west I guess I was looking for you from the top deck
Seeking the vixen seeking the night seeking my eyes
Dear stormy rain - make me Moses
Make me split, let me go this one alone
You were sitting there and I was trying not to care
But you, you were just sitting there talking to your best friend
And all eyes were on you and you knew it, didn’t you?
Why didn’t you look up
Did you know my name?
Tell me baby did you know my name?

Now I hunt for the yellow to fill my pockets
To caress my heart and take away my carcass
So take me to the circus baby, to the place of the curved
To the blurry, to the stars, to the ground to the lost and found
