slashed

Contributed by spider on Tuesday, 23rd March 2004 @ 05:51:17 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

As the blade cuts deeper and deeper
Into my flesh
Scarred a million times already
That familiar sense of relief
That comes with the blood
Fills my being again
This pain
So much easier that the last
Fills me,
Overcomes me
Takes me
For these five minutes of pain
I would give my life
Because for those 5 minutes
Its all I have
No worries
No responsibilities that I can't handle
Just pain
Sweet, sweet pain.

is it me or are the cutters are getting more brash, more bold in their painful joys?!? i understand the euphoria, but really - the end result proves the same pain, and sometimes even more...

vivid understandmeant in what you are going through.. but in some sense you should understand what your doing to yourself.. yet you feel it is worth it the pain will subside you .. when you look at the scares yet more pain comes to you.. then eventually you have no more room to spare.. think things over.. have appreciation for yourself.. think about if somethin so little makes you mad'r then a mad man then somethin so big~where will you put yourself then/what things will you put yourself through..and resume them to the best of your abilities.. in fact i know how things go .. i cant deny i am a victum/excuse me .. i was a victum but after realizing my situations and overcoming the fear of regret and coming to an understanding with myself .. helping myself.. replacing myself.. makes a whole different opinion.. different person in which maybe is better or worse.. yet the feeling of putting inflicted pain upon yourself will never seem to go away.. but if you can stop it.. in your case for that 5 minutes.. believe me .. you will feel better.. because with another scare.. comes with more pain and more regret.. and eventually your killing yourself inside because of the remembrance from looking at them and saying ***** what did i do .. i dont deserve this.. which you dont deserve this type of feeling at all.. but only yourself can help you and your situation.. from a kind heart to a worried so called friend.. take my words into some what concideration..

my words/thoughts/feelings are with you

A wise man once said that feeling too much pain numbs us like a hot iron searing us. Good poem though
