When they part

he sat there,
not knowing he was dying,
his mouth was covered by his hand,
his memorizes started to wash away with the sand,
he never thought that the day would come,
when he had to ask God from above,
to help him forget everything he knew,
about her eyes that were so blue,
the flower sent of her hair,
and how when she smiled everything was right,
why did he have to have cancer?
why can't he go be with her,
and hold her tight until his last good-bye,
why would she run away, and never look back,
he never knew that the cause for death,
was his only lost love,
why was this illness,
taking away the heart,
he would never know until they part.
