I only hope you never know what its like to be me
I wish you would never experience the melancholy pain I feel
I pray you forever retain all your precious dignity
I hope you never live a day when you wish your wounds wouldn’t heal
It hurts me to smile, when there is a hatred forcing it
It pains me to laugh, when there is a cry behind it
It hurts me to act happy, when it is just not the case
It kills me to be nice, when there is evil behind this face.
Cuts, bruises and scars are the evidence of the battle I fight
Shiny blades and sharp needles are my weapons of choice
Silently, I hope I don’t endure through another painful night
I cry out loud for salvation, yet no-one can hear my voice
As I drag the shiny silver switchblade across my skin
I pray for the courage to apply the pressure to push it in
Following the blade’s path, rivers of deep crimson flow
Blood from the blade’s score drips onto the floor below
My life escapes me, and I defeatedly gasp my last breath
I can now right my wrongs, and forever embrace my death

this is a great poem i love it and i know how it feels. i love the emotions and the deapth in your poetry, i'm drawn to dark poetry and urs is very entreging to me
