The lamp is burning
Spreading its forever light
The moon is shining
Breaking the blanket of night
Forfeit the game you play
Send me home again
Lost with no motive
I'm waiting to begin
My pride has been crushed
Dignity has run out of an open door
You left me at a broken point
As I laid here, dead on the floor
Ruining what life I had left
You ran with what I had
Told everyone the lies you spread
That everything wasn't all that bad
You threw me in a corner
Lost without a cause
You like to think what you want
And forget for what it was
Listen to the echoes
Memories lost to the creeping wind
You speak of friends often
Try to live your heaven send
The lamp is fading
Light spread to ash and more
The moon has retired
And I'm lying broken on the floor
