Take time

Contributed by Whisper on Monday, 22nd March 2004 @ 10:45:38 PM in AEST
Topic: ambiguous

As we go merrily along ,
Do we stop and look over to see the faces passing by.
Can you imigine in your head ,what kind of day they 've had .
Or what they are rushing home too.

Do you smile as they walk by
or watch the ground ?
When you share your smile with those that pass you
They are not thinking what is the matter with him. The old folks usually welcome a warm smile and a quick hello.

Others watch and their faces show just what they're really thinking
That grumpy man and that ole lady sitting quietly by
Are just like those that you have just let slip by
Smile and offer your hand in a friendly shake
AlI ya have to do is take the time.

Rush Rush the world is in a frenzy,
Just buzzing around like Bees in a hive.
If we all could just take a moment
and take a deep breath
We can look to the left and the right of us
And not walk like were' in a Fog.

There's so much truth in your poem...it's sad to acknowledge it, but it's true. Well done, this was a great write.
