Can YOU Feel What I’m Trying to Write?

Contributed by rose on Wednesday, 18th September 2002 @ 04:34:44 PM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

I have something to say
It’s been waiting to come out for some time
I am at a loss of words, to speak openly at bay
I get tongue tied, because it’s you I like
Perhaps foolish for how I feel, my emotions chime
So much older then I, yet age is an endless pike
I can sense you cannot express yourself well
Or speak the way you feel, nervous to tell
I care about you, want to get to know you more
Yet, am I a gal you want to have at your hearts core?
I wish I knew if I have what you wanted
So if I did, maybe I could speak clearly, undaunted
If only work wasn’t just the place to see daily
You have so many admirers call, a wailing!
I have more interests in you, then just the physical
Those admirers may use you for that reason
But I feel much deeper, loyal always, never treason
A cut above the rest I am, sometimes whimsical!
The fact I can feel as if we knew a life before
Although that’s not so, its as if dimension opened a door
I really don’t know you well,
So why do I feel this endless, loving spell?
I wish you would come forward and let me know
If you too, feel what I feel, then it should grow
We have so much respect in our friendship for sure
It would not be ruined if you and I let it mature
IF all of this is my misunderstanding
Then please forgive a foolish gal of her heart woolgathering!
I have written my say for now
Love knows no boundaries; always it will bow

This was written in the Spring. I have only just two months ago, let him know how I feel. ever since then, I have been nothing short of feeling as I should have never done this. I never approached a man in my life, let alone, even write love poems. Nothing said, except, these three words, when I asked him what he had to say to my thoughts, and he said, "NOthing to say " He couldn't even look me in the eyes, even look at me at all!!! and I also found my last write to him in the trash in tiny pieces the next morning. I only wrote him twice, that was it. just tells me I am never going to do that again, and boy, what a way to hurt someone, at least this is the way I took it.... of course, men and woman think so differently..... but this really hurt, it would have been nice to have him at least tell me he was not into dating, or even with someone, or something to suggest he wasn't interested, although that wasn't what I got, but well, guess it was all in my stupid head.
I wish you better luck, for I sure have not done well in this area.
Always, Amber Rose :)
