A Letter

Topic: dedicatedpoems

If you were going to die tomorrow and had a chance to write a letter to the one you love, what would it say?

I don't even know where to start. I think you know that I always liked you, but you probably have no idea how much. I'll just jump right in here by saying this. I used to cut about you. I've written countless poems about you. I've kept it to myself and you'll understand because I've shown you my insecurities where I've never told anyone else. I always felt I could trust you and you've always listened to me. Maybe I was nothing more that a little girl with an attitude problem to you, but you at least pretended to care and that means the world to me. I would do anything for you. I love you more than anything and always will. I always wanted to tell you but I couldn't find the words and as you know I am chronically paranoid. But you are one of the people I trust, and I trust you never to repeat this to anyone. Everytime I saw you it was like I'd eaten 1000 butterflies. You were why I had "the shakeys" and when you spoke to me, I felt like you'd given me the greatest gift I could ever receive. You are so beautiful. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. I could never quite figure out how to make you feel the same way, and came to the conclusion that it just wasn't me so I should give up. But in my heart I could never give up and I never will.
I love you.
