Love is blind as every one says
as I go in and out of a 7 year relationship
They tell me that he is no good
but yet I still don't listen
Now that he is away for a long time
I start to think are they right
Should I stay or should I go
even though this is my first love
Love is blind as they say
Now that he is gone
I think I should go because he don't treat me right
I am lost and confused about it all
but every one said I did right by letting go
Love is blind
and so am I because I stayed with him much to long
we have a child a little girl so I have to think of her too
Love is blind
As I think about my daughter
does she need to see mommy go though this
And then I come to my senses
and say no so I had to let him go
so there you have it my dear friends
when people say love is blind
they are telling you the truth
Love is blind

Yes, it is blind. I always say love makes you stupid. And people continue to prove me right time and again, lol. It may have taken you 7 years, but at least you finally let go of someone who wasn't treating you right. Better late than never. Great poem, I enjoyed it.

Love hurts.
So happy you have seen the light and yes your daughter needs her father but you also need to be appreciated and respected in love.
You deserve the best you may never forget your first love but you will love again hopefully he will treat you with the respect you so well deserve
