I really miss her.
Hearing about her day
and what shes doing.
Though I miss her
I've just never been one
to break the silence held.
Time only amplifies silence.
How many times did I
talk to her all night long.
How much time wasted
to just be missing her now.
Sometimes I wish that
she'd be in my arms sleeping.
If need be I'd be those
strong shoulders to cry on.
I miss you badly and
though silence hurts the
pain it causes fades.
And when you can't read
their writtten word anymore
it's time to throw them away
and to just start walking.
Silence hurts worst when
the person is around but
just isn't talking to you.

Cobalt...someone isn't talking to me any more...it hurts like..well, it hurts really bad. He's stubborn and mad and nothing I do helps...your poem reminds me..and makes me wonder if even though he isn't talking and he's angry...might he be missing me? is it possible...or has he thrown my memory away and just walked on?
loved your poem as usual...made me think. Not always a good thing :-( |

Great Write Although The Silent Treatment

I am sitting here contemplating on how to comment on this poem. Firstly let me say it is one of your best, poetically speaking. Its very powerful.

SIlence does hurt.Silence is worse than words because there seems to be a world and no emotions in between the people.It's like a big void...Very well written,
