my muse

Contributed by twinkletoes on Monday, 22nd March 2004 @ 12:40:27 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

the beauty within is opened up by the words, i accept you. this world needs more acceptance, and with this tolerance is fostered, once tolerance is fostered...peace follows. we all should use words in writing that are words we can be proud of later in life, we should not use words that we will shy away from or not be able to read for fear of embarrassment. let there be acceptance. i felt acceptance the other day, quickly followed was joy, enough joy that i was consumed and felt totally humbled. i have tried to write of it but have found i am unable to do so except to say these 4 lines..........

what is this beauty i see
that has given so few a words
is it the love i have for you
or that you have for me?

your beauty is a sin,
cook me a breakfast with some fries,
And it's your turn to get them in!

Getting drunk is a favoured pastime of mine, simply because I see everyone's true colours, when they are too. This is very honest, and full of candour.

Very touching and although the preamble is written in prose, it helps to infuse the sense of unbridled, drunken honesty.

An original write.
Thanks for sharing.

Once, a long time ago..(and I say this with tears) someone came to my poetic defense..someone was giving me zeros..LOL. anyway..he said he was tipsy..and the things he said; well, tipsy or not...he made me feel so great..
I learned the word schlong..rotflmao. He became my muse for awhile...this reminds me of that. thanks......
