Once upon a time
Before life fell apart
Before people's words
Could slash through your heart
Things could be perfect
As they should’ve been
Things could be perfect
As they will again
The weight of the world
Presses down heavily
Others are happy...
Why cant we be?
It could be perfect
If they weren’t here
It could be perfect
In absence of fear
Words sharper than razors
Can pierce our skin
Causing rage to burn
And fester within
Life would be perfect
Untainted by hate
Life would be perfect
If left up to fate
Rise above the world
On once-broken wings
Clash of swords upon bones
Beautiful rings
It will be perfect
Conquer together
It will be perfect
We'll live forever
