Come Forth, My Love

Come forth, my love,
Let your light fall on me,
And permit love’s shadow to be cast
Upon this tormented soul.
Of all your pleasant virtues
And fiery words
That fall upon my heart,
I only wish to have
Your love.
Come, my lady, let love’s
Enchanting wine caress
Your lips, warm your heart,
And set your skin on fire.
Do not let my kiss fall
Upon cold lips that death brings
On a loveless body and soul,
But let my fiery breath’s
Love caress your soul and body
And shock it into
Ecstasy.
