I reach for the arms of an angel
but he does nt take my hand.
Caught in a web of passion
and i don't know where i stand.
I strive for him to love me
but he does not feel my pain.
I hand my heart to him
yet,I stand alone in the rain.
I've built my palace around him
and he just causes it to fall.
I yearn for him to love me
but he does not here my call.
All the love i have inside of me
he has taken for his own.
Never has he given me
the love to him i've shown.
He does not understand
the pain he causes me to feel.
I want to hear him say he loves me
but i know i never will.

| i really liked that poem, and i can relate...guys are beasts, they appear all nice at first, then pull a complete 180, acting like they want commitment, yet never acting on it...great poem |
