"THE BEAUTY OF A MAN"
"Beautiful Woman Month," they say.....
But men can be beautiful too, many a way.
Perfection, I'm not writing about here.
No man nor woman is perfect, nor can adhere!
Beauty is the inherent quality that's pleasing
Handsome could also be used, or way of acting.
"Men bashing" has taken it's toll on the man's soul
Identity no longer known for most, he's lost his role.
Beauty in a man can be found in his actions,
Emptying himself of pride, unreasonableness, he bargains
Everyone he considers, in his decision making.
Sacrificing his wishes bestowing upon others a blessing.
A man's beauty shows, through his choice of clothes.
A shirt worn o'er his heart, warms it as kindness flows
Stetson Hat fits just right, a temper, his mind controls.
Lovingly, he balances his priorities, family over payrolls.
Beauty in the single man, can also be found easily
Pants he wears zipped, naught for lust, love committed carefully.
Wondrous Beauty, does he love others as his own body?
Nourishes it, gives loving attention, never treats it cruelly.
Contolling is not a part of a Beautiful Man's hand.
Trusting he will be, valuing others freedom, n'er command
Protective of those he loves, never ruling, but lovingly guides.
Head o'er household, he mildly and kindly abides.
Hearts of Beautiful Men are their seats of motivation.
Moral character, provides, taking responsibility often.
True beauty in a Man can be found in his unseen soul
Spirit or disposition, positive, up-building, praises to console.
A poem for the Beauty of a Woman I had planned.
Instead, I wrote the scanning Beauty of a Man.
Qualities for Beautiful Woman likewise apply.
Both parties comply, a Beautiful Marriage, n'r a sigh.
Inspired to write about a Beautiful Man I know.
This Beautiful Man has a beautiful goal, not shallow.
Souls of those lost, helping them back, at any cost.
Beautiful Guide, blessed are they, for once he too was lost.
Beauty without perfection, I'm proud he is my friend.
Qualities of Beauty numbers many, simply can't be penned.
Trusting, loyal, generous, on whom one can depend!
It is my pleasure, kindly loving him through my pen!

I do have to admit I have known some beautiful men in my life. I still know a couple that are living. But somewhere down the decades the beauty seemed to fade from men. I don't think the women caused it, I think life itself did. Stress, worry, lack of familial and societal responsibilities taken seriously. It is sad because the world now still needs 'real beautiful men'.

Well Loving this was really interesting to read ! I think it's great you wrote about the beauty of a man! I also think each dignified man deserves his share of a tribute to all the fascinating and beautiful things they have to offer us,and this one was a beauty!
