AFFORDABLE LOVE

I've lost focus, I'm loosing the fear
The wrong bumpy road is where I steer
I've desperately struggled my way out of the dark abyss
My soul the devil does miss
Demons persistently dragging, pulling, pushing me back
Back to a place where inner peace and joy I lack
Old habits slowly, slithering their way in
leading me down the dusty road of sin
I have the power to stop it now
I musn't give up and through in the towel
Once I cruised the backroads of hell
And over and over again all I did was fail
Then I got aboard and rode the life train
With every thing to gain
Now once again I'm on the verge Of destruction
And I haven't even finnished my reconstruction
Todays a sad day
Because of my recent actions I may pay
Please my mighty Father forgive me
I haven't been what you want me to be
I'm sorry I left you
And for my own will I do
Please guide and direct me in the right way
Help me find the way back to the smooth, straight highway
I'm scared so damn scared
My life before I never cared
I love you lord
life without you I can't afford
