HE JUST WALKED AWAY

Contributed by emystar on Sunday, 21st March 2004 @ 06:02:25 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Contributed by emystar on Monday, May 20 2002 @ 16:44:18 CDT

With his heart open
he begged for her love
wanting her again but
he didn't shove....
Remember when we first wed?
She listened but her love was dead...

Crying he had his say
then he just walked away.
She had known someday he'd cry,
would be sorry by-n-by.
Once she longed to hear him say,
"I want you and need you,
there's no other way".
Then he just walked away.........

Years since they parted.
Alone she was broken hearted,,
so much in tween time.
He told her of his luv genuine.
With tears in his eyes he tried
but knew her love had died.

Should have thought fore he strayed,
in someone's else bed laid.....
No thought of his kids-n-her
or how much he'd been needed there..
For her healing had come
in two daughters-n-a son.
