My knees would shake,
When you were in sight.
My mind full of wonder,
My heart full of fright.
Will this feeling ever stop?
When did this start?
How can I listen to my mind,
Without breaking my heart.
I am so in love with you,
What should I do?
I can't think of anything,
Nothing but you.
Should I ignore these thoughts,
Or just give them time?
I can't think straight anymore,
My heart controls my mind.
You'd walk by me with a smile,
Oh, how I wanted to be with you.
I loved just the thought of us,
Of all the things we could do.
Then I saw an opportunity,
An opportunity to be with you.
I never thought I'd have the chance,
But then my wish came true.
Now that we're together,
I love you with all my heart.
I love it when you're close to me.
I hate it when we're apart.
You're not like everyone else,
You make me feel happy inside.
I hope we can stay together,
Hand in hand, Side by side.
You're different from everyone,
But in a good way.
You treat me asif I'm special,
So I just love you, Okay?
I honestly don't know you real well,
But in my heart I feel I do.
So all I can say is I love you,
And I hope you love me too.

| This is so sweet.. and has a different meaning to me...you see...my hubby's name is also PJ..well his initials anyhow. His whole name intialized would be PJS...used to tease him and call him pajamas :)....I liked this poem. |
