Loving Echoes
The echoes of your love
Return gently to my heart
A sweet serenade of soothing caresses
Bringing to remembrance our moments together
Sending tiny tremors of love
That awaken and excite my heart anew
I hear your whispers, your desires
Reminding me we are not truly apart
Only separated by time and distance
But joined heart to heart
In the beauty and power of love
Made one in its image
How inspiring are loves echoes
Those attenuated reminders of hope
Giving rise to joy
And the promise of our tomorrows
