Homage of Heart

Contributed by Valerie_Pearson on Tuesday, 17th September 2002 @ 11:37:21 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Un-aware of it's direction,
least it cast an open flame,
between the midst of light and shadow,
it dares to dream the same,
it's course, a part of heritage,
a raw and open vault,
hence, it looks for solitude,
but lies neutral in its fault,
It's made of ridged edges,
a double risk, submerged,
therefore, its armor, is its structure,
its counterpart, unheard,
adaquate of equal balance,
it obtains to gather stones,
searching for its harbor,
to venture on its own,
Subdue'd by restless powers,
without an alibi,
it begins to choose its course,
likes and dislikes, pass it by,
It stands, as its own herald,
pursuing life alone,
its bondage, a benefactor,
emotions, ride its dome,
devoted, but direct, it lies a solid friend,
a sneek peek, at its travel,
its homage, can not end,
Blocked inside, of prefix,
it begs to find restraint,
as its lantern burns away,
it starts a new complaint,
first, it stands there motionless,
unchanging its design,
thusforth it tries, to hold its own,
but the flame is more divine,
hence, it should need a helper,
but dare it be exposed,
slamming into crying waters,
it opens it's own soul,
Equalizing trepass, it advances over time,
sprouting out from hidden walls,
its poised to search rewind,
A model of its own best friend,
it trips to find the key,
unlocking finally its own vault,
to display its inner seed,
A paradise advancing,
it walks with pros and cons,
no course to follow passage,
it just keeps moving on,
an ordamental melody,
it weighs the odds and ends,
its neutral state expires,
its finally met a friend,
its cornered in its harvest,
its outcry needs an end,
with one last look, it waves good-by,
and brings its wick anew,
nodoubt it also left its cries,
the day that I met you,
thusforth a whole, unite the pair,
a flame now burns, with two,
the moment of an upmost trail,
the vow is made, I do!
