Light becomes stonger than the dark in the end,
Life becomes of meaning when I see your face,
When I hear your voice,
I smile when you hug me,
I love you Dad,
Your my heart my soul,
My life means something to you,
When you come home I feel happy,
When you leave I feel empty inside,

Hi there, great poem, you should show it to your dad, you told me you've tried talking to him before but maybe he doesn't realise how unhappy you can be, write him a letter and leave it for him to find, me and my son sometimes write letters to each other, it helps to get it out of your system and whoevers reading has to take it in. You must tell him you're unhappy, then he can help you.

| Well I know this my husband is a truck driver & My kids feel a little cheated at times but he makes up for it on the weekends! Its a tough job but someone has to do it! Christina |

I really like this. My Dad moved to Australia after my parents divorced 20 years ago. I have seen my Dad maybe 3 times since, and I do miss him so much. It is hard, Im here if you need to talk
