underlying emotions igniting my thoughts,
so many nights i sat looking out my window,
till the day my life is through; this i promise you,
behind each smile a dream has been lived,

still i sit whilst my soul's three million miles away,
sometimes i think i won't be coming back anytime soon,
i would walk back to get you if i could reach, i'd go,
turn back the clock to 4424 mornings ago,

for the first time in my life, there is nothing i can say,
as i listen for the unspoken answers in the wind,
no stone left unturned beneath my heart,
i am far far from storybook's end,

where villians are served justice, and heros go free,
i feel as if im falling everytime i close my eyes,
did i loose my place? did i loose my way?
sometimes i wish it was that simple for me,

life was one of those great storys,
you couldn't put down,
did not want to let go,
4424 mornings ago.

ohh Nessa....you lay your heart on the page for all to see, and make it beautiful in its sadness. You deserve such happiness in your life my dear sweet friend.

Oh Nessa, how sad and beautiful all together. You have such a great talent for telling a story through your poetry, I wish you all the happiness in the world, but don't forget nobody can take away your memories of happier times. I know you have a lot of friends on here, I hope you can count me on that list and talk to me if you are down. I'm a damned good listener you know!!!

All my love

Ali xx

Life truly is a story...you tell it so nicely here.. a pity we cannot pause life like the vcr..or rewind and retry.... every smile holds memory indeed, but as you said not every ending is like a story book sometimes we do lose our way....but you seem to do well in your 4424 mornings. I have not gone that far and perhaps will never do this well....nice poem .

I know I already commented on this, but as I read it over again and again, I realize just how incredibly beautifully you write. I always knew you did, but sometimes, because of our friendship I read more with my heart then my eyes. From a pure poetic standpoint, this is an ageless work of art ( big sigh). I could only dream of writing with such feeling and beauty.

Breathtaking

I don't think there is much left to say that has not been said, Nessa. This is a magnificent outpouring of your inner being. Exquisite and perfect.

Hugs to you,
Rita

I am glad that someone else has found the magestic quality in your writing nessa. i have said your reflective works carry a trait that is dreamlike to read. I have not heard your voice neither do i want to, the voice that is carried by your poetry is rich enough for me. these pieces are mezmerizing, i am applauding a true peot here. also i'm starting to yabba, i'll shut up..........good work nessa.

Nessa that was beautiful, i dont know what i can say that hasnt already been said, words wont express how much that poem sings out to everyone that will read it, truely another heart-felt and emotional masterpiece

Through the ages it will lie, where moutains cross and doves will fly,
A page of beauty of emotional bliss, Frozen in time as soft as a kiss.

Beautiful write nessa truely beautiful

Oh my dear dear friend. I've been there Nessa.........it's a matter of time they all said!
Baloney I said, you wouldn't be saying that if your heart ached like mine? How do you know how I feel.......I learned one thing and this is for real......why pick up where life left off! Life is darn hard, with it's losses and strife.....as soon as we accept that fact...then we can move on to the "living track"
Isn't it strange Nessa....He is always looking out for us, and yet when he takes something from us that we really wanted.........we forget to say, "Let your will be done not mine!"
He may have saved you from the Worst life there ever could be! Be thankful and don't grieve! Just move on!
I love you
consue
