as i lie awake and alone in my room
with nothing left but the scent of your perfume
ill think about you and wish you were mine
hoping one day our hearts will intertwine
dont worry love, i wont call you tonight
but ill still dream about you, if thats alright
ill make believe that you and i are one
but this dream was over before it begun
i try so hard to let you go
and forget what i should have so long ago
everything inside tells me to leave this dream
ive built of us behind
but i still drown in your eyes
and my heart still stops when you walk by
thoughts of you still keep me up at night
and no matter how hard i try to fake it
nothing is alright
..without you
