SINGING BLOSSOMS

"SINGING BLOSSOMS"

My leafless Lilac Bush looks barren,
It's branches reach towards the heaven.
Spring's dancing Lavender Ladies replaced.
Singing Sparrow Blossoms, all incased.

South windows open toward their abode.
Tiny singing hearts as their songs explode.
Songs of harmony, compliment one another
Lively little blossoms, melodies they utter

Lilac Bush a' light, unnumbered wee blossoms
Memorized ballads, various volumes,
rhyming poems.
Oh, but I stand in wonderment, deeply awed.
God's musical blossoms, angels surely applaud!

Blossoms hopping from branches to twigs
Close partners n'er touching, dancing their gigs.
Silence in seconds, all stop singing at once.
A conductor they must have, it's timed brilliance!

Brains smaller than your little fingernail.
Listening, I quietly observed, it's all exhale.
Taking no breaths, no breaks in between.
Lovingly created, Gracious Creator unseen?

Lilac Bushes stand naked of leaves and bloom
Singing Sparrow Blossoms remove winter's gloom!
Thankful each day, appreciation enlightens my soul.
Pay back? Impossible! Giving back love is my goal.

"As they viewed his marvelous
creations, the morning stars
joyfully cried out together....
And all the sons of God (angels)
began shouting in applause!"
Job 38:7 & 8

"Grateful smiles"

What a delightful spring read. The birds are all singing outside and the trees have blooms or are budding out. The sun is shining and a soft wind is whispering through the grass. How lovely, Connie. You make it even more beautiful to behold.

Hugs,
Rita

Across religions, trancesding space and time, people often find God in nature.... from your wonderful work here..its no wonder why. This bounty , this harvest...this life..a prize from God.. whose payment is perhaps beyond our ken. But truly as you said.. perhaps spreading love is a goal in the right direction...and faith....faith... the only currency that we have is perhaps love and faith. I only wished that I have enough to pay for God's gift... may God keep my faith...may I find my way...it's hard sometimes...anyway..nice work.
