Why the baby had to go

Contributed by discantbelife on Friday, 19th March 2004 @ 06:48:02 PM in AEST
Topic: Event

I dont know where to go from here
Especially the fact that im in so much despair.
When they told me my due date,
I didn't know
How muchmore bad news i could take.

I kept trying to figure out how daddy
Could let me down.
He promised that mommy would never know
But in 3months time i would start to show.

I asked him to stop,
Please Daddy no
All he would say is how would anyone know.

So my choice was slim to none,
How do i explain my daddy is
The father of my son.
When i tried to explain to everyone,
The only reply i got was that i was wrong.

Now cold and out with a choice of complete doubt
I wrapped my baby boy up and put him out.
Where no one would find he was there,
And my life would be ridden of all despair,
I would be able to go back home,
Where i know daddy would finally leave me alone.

Guilty is the last thing i heard said,
When i told them the story of why my baby was
Dead

a very well written piece, but what a horrible scenario.... I pray this rarely happens. There are other options to abortion or abandonment in the manner described here ... a person like this could place a child up for adoption. The child had no choice to be born into his or her circumstances- all humans have a right to live,
