the blind man sees

Contributed by nate on Friday, 19th March 2004 @ 05:10:49 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

metaphors are frozen,
in the presence of fire,
placed under the light,
one can only admire,
the theories of someone,
who has no idea,
like the blind man,
leading the blind man,
only blinded by fears,
one must play the dog,
stand up to the truth,
then lead the other,
out of corruption,
dawning upon the life we pursued,
its like a never ending race,
where if you stop you lose,

so we keep on,
living life,
as we should,
but no one stepped off,
only wished that we could,
some are called criminals,
considered un-civilized,
but does civilization have the right,
to another be criticized?

questions come quick to the,
blind person yes,
but the blind man,
will look,
while the civilized will guess,
another contest another day,
but will his blindness continue,
or will the blur go away,

a blind man sees,
so much more,
they dont go for the looks,
they look for a door,
the entrance to whats inside,
so much more,
put upon the blind man,
who has been cursed before,
the curse reads softly,
you can only touch,
you can only feel,
but feel so much,
you can smell the beauty,
and you can smell the sin,
you can hear the world,
but once again,

you cant see,

so based upon this theory,
that the blind see more,
shouldnt the world,
look for a door,

cause even the heartless have hearts,
and the killers have loved,
and bullies we all know,
have been pushed and shoved,
and the everyday person,
is blinder then blind,
while the blind man is moving,
on step at a time,
further into this world,
of stereotypical things,
but blindness is like a light,
in which god brings,
used to teach,
true beauty,
isnt in the lime-lite,
cause a blind man cant see,
but your beautiful tonight,

so what we see on the outside,
just isnt the truth,
cause we look so good,
but yet no one loves you,

but the blind man,

blindness isnt only a disease in the eyes,
you can have great vision,
but you cannot hear,
its not that your deaf,
you just wont listen,

so a conclusion to the blind mans,
life of pain,
would be a greater way of thinking,
not picture play,
cause a blind man sees,
with everything else,
and a blind man,
can give you things,
you cant give yourself,

unconditional love. .. . .

I suddenly feel that I should date a blind man. Wow did you open up my eyes. One enthralling poem to read. Well done.... Kie
