today he gave in
he let his body rule
the craving won over him
i smoke, look im cool!
i hate this sick addiction
i gave it up myself
put that pack of marlboro
high upon a shelf
his need for it grew strong
who am i to talk
the need for tobacco
in him it did stalk
i prayed for his habit
so now i pray for him
to let go of temptation
and his foolish tobacco grin

| A very powerful poem of truth. It also speaks of your faith and dedication. I recall a few years back the surgeon general stating that tobacco was more addictive than heroin. It is a hard addiction to break and I commend you for finding the willpower to do so. Kie |

Oh smoking is really a bad addiction! *well a few cigarettes a day won't harm :p * OK ok i know they're bad even I'm trying to cut them. Enjoyed reading this one Great write ;)

My addictions during life i have broken with my addiction for simplicity (then i go and buy a computer!) seriously this is a very good write, shows addiction for what it is, a short road to oblivion.
