Princess, you're a *****.
And don't tell me I shouldn't say that, Ducky,
'Cause I'm your little Widget and I'll shake stuff up
if I need to. I can't pretend she's not here.
You can't pretend I'm not here.
Even if I'm sinking to the bottom of the can,
the bottom of the lake,
You'll still hear me chinking against the sides, clicking on the bottom of your unsteady canoe.
Soft Plastic Perez is nothing on me.
And you know it. But would you deny it?
Would you deny in the heat of a secret look, concealed in the frenzy of the dancing and the drinking and the mud?
Would you deny it in your head?
Your fingers? Through tangled wires?
I'll never deny how much I love(d?) you.
Choice is a gift, so
Don't get absorbed in its shiny wrapping.

Political, personal and thoroughly absorbing.
I've read LGenna's response. I'm nosey, and loving it.
Thanks for sharing this. |
