God saw you getting tired
A cure was not to be found
So he put his arms around you
And whispered "come unto me child"
With tearful eyes we watched
And saw you pass away
We loved you so very dearly...
But could not make you stay
A golden heart stop beating
Hard working hand at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
That he only takes the best.
