what if you don't fit in
what if people don't see you
what if they don't notice
what if they laugh
what if they criticize
what if they call out names
what if they make you cry
what if you don't go back
what if you are unable to return
what if you can't escape
what if they just don't see
what if you aren't who they want you to be
what if you aren't good enough
what if you aren't all that tough
what if you can't take it
what if you collapse to the ground
what if no one is there to help you up
what if they just leave you there
what if no one even knows you are there
ill tell you what
ill be there beside you the whole time

| I have the same fears, I guess alot of people do. I remember the first poem I submitted here I was like TERRIFIED and almost talked myself out of it. So yeah I could relate to this poem. Thought it was excellent to by the way... Kie |
