Hope

Contributed by Kellros on Thursday, 18th March 2004 @ 01:54:37 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Trying is not succeeding,
dying is not the ending,
life is barely the beggining,
and your end merely the start of something new.

Failing is not trying,
dying is not living,
lying is not truth,
games are not real

Fear is only a defence,
hate is only encumbrance,
feeling is only emotional,
loving is only living,
dying within oneself,
is worse than dying

Bright light shining down on me,
so blinding i can barely see.
From within the light is a face,
to deep his eyes, to much his grace,
God looks down on me,
finds peace in my heart,
forever more i trust Him,
forever more being one,
forever more believing,
hope is the only thing that has not gone

I do not hear angels singing,
i do not hear an endless cry,
i do not find comfort in dying,'
i do not need to be lying,
to know what i am,
is because i never gave up hope

Hope is an endless journey to succesion,
in the end you might succeed,
and be reminded that only,
hope had you going

Fear in the night,
when the air is cold,
find comfort in hope,
that things will be alright,
and when you get through the night,
it was because you had hope,
and hope was keeping you alive

And hope does not disappoint us. Amen.
This is wonderful! You're certainly growing as a poet.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
