As the dancing flames engulf her the heat intensifies
She screams and cries and begs and pleads
But still, the gods say that she must die
Her crime is a prevalent one
Among the women of the world
She loved a man, she trusted him
She thought she was his girl
But in his eyes she meant nothing
Just another booty call
She provided the physical satisfaction he craved
But his heart wasn't involved at all
Deep down, she knew the truth
But still, the attention, she cherished
And for this betrayal to herself
It was determined that she must perish
Which brings us to the present
For her loyalty to him she dies
But as she struggles for one last breath
It's his name that she cries
