I am going to develop this land..so there,
I am going to slip money to the pollies
and build what I want...I don't care.
You might not understand why I want to develop this country so grand,
I want a monument to me...understand!!!!
So I rip out a tree or two,
what do I disturb?
Lizards and maybe a cockatoo?
who cares about birds and oxygen and stuff when I have money to make and YOU think I am gruff!!!!
I ripped out trees and filled in swamps,killed the fishing for miles and brought in workers
from overseas,
I'm helping the overpopulated
and pay them how I please,
I don't give em much,
but hey!!!!!the even got less where they used to live,
a monument to me is what I give.
So don't complain about the forests and bush
I have money to make so nature I'll give a push.
