I had never tasted meat so sweet
Wine so divine
Never devoured a love so dark
Or a kiss so light
I never felt air so cool
Or passion so hott
I ate the plump apples
And licked the whipped cream off the ripe peach
My stomach felt warm
I ate like Thanksgiving
Until I had my fill
Or so I thought
For I looked into your eyes
And felt hungry again
Starving for your love.
